The Spotty bird and the Stripey bird look almost identical. The only big difference between them is in their singing patterns. Spotty birds sing mostly in the morning and sometimes in the evening. Stripey birds sing throughout the day, but never in the evening. |
Liam and Sarah are trying to figure out if a bird they saw yesterday is a Spotty or a Stripey.
Liam: “If we only listen to it sing in the morning, we won’t be able to tell if it’s a Spotty or a Stripey.”
Sarah: “The only way we could be sure is to see if it sings in the evening.”
