The Blue Mountains Water Skink is an endangered species, while the Eastern Water Skink has a thriving population.
Adnan and Mahati are studying both species in the Blue Mountains.
Adnan: “In the past twelve months, our experiment in the Blue Mountains recorded 73 Blue Mountains Water Skinks and 74 Eastern Water Skinks.”
Mahati: “That means the Blue Mountains Water Skink population has recovered and should no longer be considered endangered!”
