Axel, Barry and Cathy each take turns to roll a die.

• If the number on the die shows even, that player gives the number of marbles shown on the face of the die to each of the other two players.
• If the number on the die shows odd, then that player receives the number of marbles shown on the face of the die from each of the other two players.

All players start with 20 marbles each.

Axel goes first and rolls a 3, Barry goes next and rolls a 4.
