It is often argued in Australia that Australian students should also not wear school uniforms. Most schools in the United States do not provide school uniforms. Their students often attend school in casual clothes. However, many teachers and parents alike state that school uniforms provide a sense of unity among the students, represents the school and teaches students to dress appropriately and professionally.
