For the last five years, the Colby Street pie-eating contest has been won by a different person every year. Two years ago, the winner was Mr Green, and Mrs Black was runner-up. Last year, four contestants entered: Mr Green, Mrs Black, Miss Orange, and Ms White. Ms White had no appetite and finished last. Mrs Black started well but didn’t do as well as she had the previous year.
