A New School Concept

The NSW Education Minister is planning to build a new primary school in your suburb. You are asked to submit an email giving ideas for a new building to teach a brand-new subject that isn’t taught in school.

In your email, you could:

  • Describe what the new topic involves
  • How would this benefit future primary students
  • Explain the educational value of it

You do not need to include email formatting such as To, Subject, etc in your response.

Structure of your email:

Introduction: initial greeting of your audience and introduce yourself and the reason for writing.

Body paragraphs:

Reasoning #1: What is the most obvious reason for your idea?

Reasoning #2: What is a reason to benefit the audience (Education Minister or principal)?

Reasoning #3: What other reason can support your idea?

Conclusion: Thank your audience for your time and ask them to consider your idea and the impact it will have.

Be sure to end with a salutation (Sincerely, Best/ Warmest regards, With gratitude, Thank you)
